FSBO To Realtor Wait These People Were In Our Home 5 Weeks Ago

In ten years we've worked well with people asp net web hosting are For Sale Buy Owners. We get emails and receive calls from FSBO's who ask us to sell their home and compensate our commission. We never had a FSBO call to complain about our Buyer though!

Seems we have an issue with a FSBO who signed an agreement with our company. They promised to compensate a 3% fee paid at closing. We`ve shown the home several times.

Yesterday, we showed the home to a couple who apparently viewed this home 5 mortgage co ago. The couple like the home, we wrote the offer and instead of being elated with the offer the FSBO sends us a fax, telling us "We shouldn't`t have to pay you`re fee for this buyer". Great logic, the home has been on the market for 180 days and they`re worried about our commission. Is it any wonder why homes don`t sell?!

The conversation is as follows:

FSBO: Why should we compensate you and your company for tax relief attorney buyers?

Me: These buyers want to purchase your home. Several weeks ago we had you sign an agreement that states" If we bring you a buyer, we`re compensated if you accept the offer". Well, we have the buyer. We`re not pressuring you to effexor xr it`s a solid offer.

FSBO: We feel cheated, after all car insurance price looked at our home 5 weeks ago!

Me: How are you cheated? The home has been on the market for a very long time, we have a buyer who is ready to purchase the home, the fact they walked in 5 weeks ago is meaningless.They weren`t qualified back than, we made sure to qualify them,they can close in 30 days!

FSBO: How about we split the difference? We`ll give you a lessor commission.

Me: We have an agreement. if you don`t want to take our offer we understand, but we`re not splitting the difference.

FSBO: How about the buyers compensate you the difference? We`ll feel better!

Me:The offer is from the buyer, they`re not prepared to pay us. They don`t have too! We thought you wanted to sell your home, which is why we brought buyers to you! We did our job.

FSBO: We`ll get back to you on Monday.

It`s hard to understand why people change their attitude once an offer is placed on the table.

In the case of the FSBO, they`re worried about a couple who spent a grand total of 3 minutes in the home 5 weeks ago.

We didn`t have the heart to tell the FSBO the couple didn`t even remember viewing the home before!
